Crossroads
It has become increasingly apparent over the last 3 years that Jesus is doing something unique and significant with our tiny ministry. Since the world-altering disaster of Covid and government restrictions have ended (which closed public schools in some countries for 2 years!), we have organized six trips to four countries to bring creation science assemblies to students. Each of these assemblies concluded with a clear presentation of the Gospel message – our salvation depends not on our actions, but on faith in what Jesus has done to pay the price we owe for our sins. This same message is in every hardcover creation devotional the students receive. In these three years, 86,000 students (potentially as many as 500,000 people if you include family and friends), have been exposed to a clear presentation of the Gospel. Since 2017, when we first started giving public school science assemblies in foreign public schools, our small ministry has spoken to 230,000 students in 6 different nations! We are aware of no other Christian ministry in the world who has been given such widespread access to public education systems in order to bring the Gospel message to the next generation.
In 2026, we have been asked to come to 3 new countries (Kenya, Rwanda, and Guatemala) with inquiries from others (Columbia, Bahamas). In addition, we will be returning to Fiji and the Philippines in 2026. Eighteen years ago, I walked away from my job at Dow Chemical to start Search for the Truth Ministries. Although we worked since that time as full-time ministry directors, Robin and I never want to burden the ministry with personal salary costs and receive only about 25% of our living expenses as compensation from the ministry (this supplements our retirement income and savings.) In 2022, we began mentoring commercial airline pilot Chris Lowes as Assistant Ministry Director and in 2025, we added full-time missionary Fred Brashear as Director of International Evangelism to help organize oversea trips. Neither of these are paid positions. But we find ourselves inadequately handling all the demands required to run our growing ministry properly.
In August, our Board of Directors and staff are having a 24-hour retreat to seek the Lord’s wisdom concerning hiring our first paid full-time employee to help expand ministry activities. This is a major long-term commitment, and since we depend primarily on donations to operate, and most of our donations go toward book distribution in other countries…this is not an easy decision. We covet your prayers that we hear clearly from the Lord. Please pray that He would provide the perfect visionary person for this position…if this is the Lord’s timing and will for our ministry.
2026 Alaska Creation Cruise
On May 23-30, 2026 our ministry will again present evening creation talks on an Alaskan cruise hosted by Pastor Jim Scudder of Quentin Road Baptist Church. Even more exciting – on this trip there will be both morning and evening sessions that include talks from Answers in Genesis speakers Danny Faulker, Mark Looy, and Georgia Purdom. In addition to inspiring speakers and the awesome beauty of Alaska, participants will receive our creation resource pack – containing three of our newest resources (Explore the World, A Christian’s Guide to Refuting Evolution, Professor IO) and our creation curriculum containing over 20-hours of video produced by Search for the Truth Ministries and filmed on locations from coast to coast.
Columbia School Outreach
We recently received this testimony of the impact our books are having in Columbia. Since 2016 thousands have been reached through the Spanish version of A Closer look at the Evidence devotional. Christian Schools, church leaders and missionaries in Columbia are using your book. Every week, students in Boston International School (BIS) in Barranquilla read a selected devotional followed by a group discussion, and session. The Lord has multiplied the outreach, as the limited number of books are moved from classroom to classroom so more than 500 students can learn about their Creator every school year. Thank you for making this possible through developing these resources. Under the direction of the BIS school’s Science Coordinator, Miss Nasly Prieto, resources have also been integrated into their science classes. She writes: “May the Lord reward all who have given us these books. The children will grow up with the Word of God AND with the clear understanding that true science does not contradict the Bible. Thank you for making this possible.”
Three Significant Events
We are excited to announce the release of our twentieth Rocks Cry Out video presentation. Because of our busy speaking schedule, it has taken almost two years to complete this teaching. The film opens in a graveyard and moves on to Niagara Falls, Letchworth State Park in New York (The Grand Canyon of the East) and closes from a church pew nestled amongst the early morning dew-covered ferns of a forest. The culmination is a compelling message of the enormous impact that Jesus’ sacrifice has on the lives of believers. You can view the film’s final segment to the left.

Children’s Creation Adventure Being Printed
For years, supporters have requested that we produce a creation book similar to our creation devotionals, but designed for younger children. Two years in the making, we have just sent such a book off to be printed. Although it will not be available for purchase until our fall newsletter, below is a sneak preview of the 112-page color hardcover.
Professor Io follows the adventures of a brilliant professor and two orphans who come to live with him. This engagingly illustrated book (complete with parent notes, extensive references, and video links expanding on the narrative) is ideal for children ages 6 – 12. The compelling narrative takes the reader on a unique exploration of the wonders of nature, and shows how observing creation deepens our trust in God and the Bible. Professor Io makes a great addition to any homeschooling curriculum, family devotion time, or bedtime reading routine.
