Sedimentary rock layers around the world are often bent and folded smoothly instead of broken and fractured. But if these layers hardened over millions of years before being pushed upward to form mountains, shouldn’t they crack under pressure? In this video, we explore the fascinating evidence found in folded rock layers and how it raises important questions about the age of the earth and the formation of mountains. These rock formations suggest that the layers were still soft and flexible when they bent, pointing to a much more rapid geological process. The Bible describes a worldwide Flood during the days of Noah that dramatically reshaped the earth. Could events during that catastrophe explain the bent sedimentary layers we see today? When we look carefully at the evidence in the rocks beneath our feet, we find that the world around us continues to confirm what Scripture has said all along. 📖 “For the word of God is alive and active.” — Hebrews 4:12
