When Mount St. Helens erupted in 1980, scientists were given a rare opportunity to observe massive geological change in real time. In just hours, thick sediment layers were laid down, deep canyons were carved, and entire forests were buried—processes often claimed to take millions of years. Rather than contradicting Scripture, the evidence we see today is consistent with it.
