Biography of Bruce Malone

Bruce Malone gave his life to Christ over 20 years ago, as the Lord miraculously preserved him through a close call with death.  Since that time Bruce has looked for a deeper purpose in life and realized that rejection of Biblical truth, justified by belief in evolution, is the acid which is eating away at the moral foundation of our culture.

Bruce spent 27 years working as a research leader for the Dow Chemical Corporation, has a degree chemical engineering, and is responsible for key innovations which have resulted in 18 patents.  But his passion is sharing the relevance and evidence for creation, so he retired early to become full time Director of Search for the Truth Ministries.

Bruce brings science alive through stories and demonstrations, showing that Biblical creation is the most rational explanation for the world around us.  The purpose of both his books and lectures is to help the non-scientific layman understand the importance of creation while motivating and equipping them to share these truths.

Our Beliefs

The Bible - The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is our guide in every matter of life. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

Creation - Creation provides the physical assurance for God's existence and nature. The Bible is very clear that God created the entire universe in six normal earth days, that there is sin and death because of man's actions, and that there has been a global flood covering the entire earth within the last 6000 years. It is this flood which explains the majority of the sedimentary and fossil record. It is only by suppressing the evidence for these factual events that evolution and other misinterpretations of the physical world are prevalent. (Genesis 1 - 11; Romans 1, 2 Peter 3:3-7)

God - Our Creator is one God manifested in three forms - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each are co-equal and act as sustainer of all created things. God has preserved the true record of history and the moral laws of the universe through His Inspired Word. In spite of our rejection of Him, God continues to love us, allows nothing to happen without a divine purpose, seeks at all times what is best for us, and desires to be our personal Savior. (John 1:1; John 1:14; John 1:18; John 14:28; John 15:26; John 16:28; Phil. 2:6)

Salvation - Salvation is necessary because man chose to rebel against his Creator in a real historic event. Since that act, every man and woman ever born has exhibited this same rebellious nature. Salvation is a gift of God to mankind. It is not achieved though works of religious actions or attempts at obedience, but only by grace, through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Nothing we do will add to what Jesus Christ has already done on our behalf. To receive this gift we must be willing to admit our sinfulness and turn our lives over to Him who paid the price for our rebellion. (Eph. 2:8; Rom. 5:14; Rom. 3:10; Rom. 3:23; 1 John 3:8)

Our History

Search for the Truth started with the desire to bring the evidence for creation to more people. Bruce Malone developed a series of lectures on the evidence for creation in the late 1980’s, but found that the majority of churches would not allow the class to be taught because the subject was “too controversial”. Because of this response from many churches, Bruce started purchasing space to place the evidence for creation (which students are not shown in public schools, museums, or media) into local public newspapers.

From this simple start Search for the Truth Ministries has grown to eight published books with over 100,000 copies in print. The articles contained in Search for the Truth and A Closer Look at the Evidence have been reproduced in dozens of newspapers and come with permission granted to reproduce the materials at no charge. Bruce is a popular seminar speaker with many lectures currently available on DVD or audio CD. Call for permission to reproduce any of our materials.
